Bought a Haltech E6x many years ago. A long lasting (but fun) project.
1986 Ford Escort - modified with turbocharged engine - fully developed (on flow bench) cylinder head, hydro roller camshaft, Ported intake manifold.
Forged CP pistons, Cosworth zetec connecting rods. 1.9 engine size.
Used the Haltech Injection timing calculator for initial injector pulse width mapping.
Actually worked out very, very well. Just some small idle area adjustments needed.
Car is extremely quick (for an Escort)- first gear is useless, second breaks tires loose - upon boost, and third gear is unbelievably fun (60 to 120 km/hr happens very quickly). Only 12 psi boost.
Haltech E6X - finally finished!
