I've just bought a Range Rover whereby the previous owner fitted an interceptor.
What is happening is the transmission shift points are now up around 3000rpm, where they normally sit around 1800-2000, and at the slightest hill the torque convertor unlocks, which isn't ideal as it's such a torquey motor.
I am assuming that this is because the haltech is telling the EFI ECU that the motor is under more load than it actually is. So is there a way to fix this?
I am also wondering what would happen if power feed fuse blew to the interceptor ecu. Would the engine not run, or try to run as if there were no sensor inputs for the sensors that are connected; or, would it run as if there was not interceptor signal modification?

It may be intercepting the throttle sensor which is not normal. This would be the main sensor used by the transmission. It would be worth finding out who tuned it and talk to them.
