O2 sensor signal voltage clamping

Hi, would using a simple resistor(not sure about its value ) in line from a 5v source in order to get a 0.45v fed onto the ecu (around stoich for the ecu) do the trick into fooling the ecu that all is good and not make fuel trim adjustments ? I want to have that permanently so that I can have a leaner idle and cruise.
Im not sure about what effects this could have on open loop, if there are any.
Any suggestions?

ok I just realized I need a voltage divider, so Ill put two resistors one 7430ohm to 5.10v source the other 686ohm one end to the ecu ground and the two other ends joined together going to the ecu's O2 input signal pin... I get 0.42v with this setup so its very close to .45v
soldering time...
