Old E6 changing injectors from low to high impedance

Postby daveb289 » Thu Jan 26, 2017 9:24 am

I built this vehicle back in 1993 with a big block Chevy and an E6 (just E6, no letters) running Crower stack injection. My problem is this, the car sat for several years and now two injectors are bad. Those injectors are Rochester low impedance and I can't locate a replacement set. What I can find are the same flow rate but high impedance. What do I need to do in order to run those injectors. I know that going from high impedance to low is more of an issue but can I just plug them in and go? Thanks

High impedence will give you less issues. Move to a much more modern injector that atomises better and retune to suit. It will run better and make more power too.
