F10X Wiring help

Hello, Im completly new to haltech and Engine Management Systems in general, so I was wondering if somebody could help me and possible give me som advice. I'm going to use the F10x on my volvo 740 B230Fk and I was wondering

What is the J14: Trim and J15: Spare A/D? Is this something i need?
Do you connect the coil by the Aux in or by the Ignition Module?
Is nr J7: Coil negativ/ Tacho output trigger where you connect the igniton module?
Nr J17 says Road speed, should this be connected to the speedometer/indicator?
What is J18 PWM Outputs?

Sorry for alot of questions but there is no one around that has any expirience with haltech around her.

Is nr J7: Coil negativ/ Tacho output trigger where you connect the igniton module?
Yes, Pin 36 is the signal to trigger the ignition module. Ignition module needs external power and ground from the car's system. Ignition module is a predecessor of what is now built into "smart coils".

Nr J17 says Road speed, should this be connected to the speedometer/indicator?
Don't know the answer for sure, but road speed is usually from a wheel mounted pickup and toothed wheel where teeth count per mile is setup in the ECU

What is J18 PWM Outputs?
Also I don't know what all they can be used for, but if you are not using a stepper motor type idle control valve, but a Bosch, these can be set up to control that type of valve.

Wow thanks Possible the best answer i could hoped for, thanks for quick and good answer, will try to wire it up tomorrow and see if I can program a basemap so it will start

Btw, do you know what ignition module they recomend with this ecu?

If it's a single channel, I believe any of these work. Otherwise Haltech sells one.

Huco 13 8002 Single Channel, Hall type waveform for trigger

Haltech board response is to set as Constant Carge, Falling Edge, 2-3ms dwell time.
