Halwin V1.89 Software Release

Halwin V1.89 software has been released and is now able to be downloaded from our Downloads area on the website. Website Downloads Page

Currently the latest Firmware is Build 35 (*Please note the Firmware version is compatible with Halwin versions 1.85 and above) and is also available for downloading from our website.

** Please also note when upgrading from a previous version of firmware you MUST perform the following:

1. Save a copy of your current map with your current software
2. Install the new Halwin 1.89 Software
3. Upgrade the firmware in the ECU (follow all warnings regarding firmware upgrade!)
4. Upload the new default base map found at: C:\Program Files\haltech\HalwinV1.89\default.map (use “default_e8.map” for E8 ECU’s).
5. Upload your original map

Upgrading Firmware allows you to exploit all the latest features available, However some caution must be exercised when upgrading as new features will need to be setup and tuned in your map. Refer to manual for information on new features.
