I am new here and got my elite 1500 just a week ago, i am from Germany so please excuse my bad english. I want to use the elite in my Audi TT 8N (99).
I noticed there is verry less can support ready to use, the only thing i found are the wheelspeedsensors. I am using the beetle-can-setup.
I know there is also the signal of the steeringwheelangle available on the canbus but i cant set the input to can here. Also i would like to be able to adjust the output messages. This would be usefull to controll the haldex-AWD, with manipulated rpm and load values send via can it would make higher lock values.
If you haltech guys need more information about the bosch ME7 can protocol just ask me, maybe i could help.
Another point is, i am missing the wires and pins for can in the harness i bought :/

Maybe this could help:
Re: CAN Functions (G-Sensors, Steering Angle...)
Opening up the CAN protcol to be user programmable would be HUGE. Would allow us to do things like this and more.

Re: CAN Functions (G-Sensors, Steering Angle...)
I started to look at MAXXECU for a friends project, its not comparable to my Haltech Elite, but one point made me pensive. Its the CAN compatibility again. They made it realy easy (for Users who understand CAN messages) and did a good work on their help file with an example how to set it up with a CAN analyzer.
Would like to see something like this in a future update as i use a BMW E46 M3 ABS Unit and have no support for any wheelspeed sensors at all.
I would also like to use a Elite 2500 in a future projekt E46 S62 swap and will need CAN in and outputs. I would not like to have to use the MAXXECU due to worse Knock detection, no long term functions, no 4D tuning, table inputs not selectable...
It would open so much posibilities, maybe have a look at your swedish competitor...

Nothing at the moment, especially when the vast majority of staff are working from home.

I agree, it would be a game changer!
