Automatic Long/short term trims.
Hi, is it possible for Haltech to give us the option (check box etc.) to set maps such as long term fuel trim to automatically make the changes rather than having to connect the laptop to make them?

Re: Automatic Long/short term trims.
Sounds good in theory, but what happens if you have an issue that skews your long terms, and you screw up your tune by applying the bad data? Maybe a bad sensor, or exhaust leak, or any other mechanical issue... anything could cause this.
Just personal, but I always prefer to manually eyeball all long terms to look for anomalies.

If your axis are all the same in the base fuel and LTFT
It's not much different to what you're talking about, just leave it be.
The ECU still applies that correction factor over the base value.
Base: (100) + LTFT: (+5%) isn't really any different to having the base cell = 105 from the get go.
Ecu still adding the correct amount of fuel when that RPM and load axis is reached.
As Matt said, at least if something starts to play up it won't destroy your whole VE map.
