Hi there,
Just curious to get a bit more information about wiring up my 2jz with a number of sensors.
Currently I have the following sensors;
1. Air Temp
2. Coolant Temp
3. Wideband O2
4. External Map
5. Air Idle Motor
6. 2JZ TPS
7. Fuel Pressure
8. Transmission Pressure (for automatic)
Items 1 through 5 seems straight forward enough to wire as per the haltech wiring diagram that came with the ECU.
I've found information online to wire the TPS, also for the trigger and home inputs. Is it best to leave the two unused wires for both inputs on the loom or should they be connected ? Are they used to assist in shielding ?
Is someone able to assist with the two pressure sensors? Both have a 3 pin connection (GND, +5V, INPUT). I am not too sure what the most appropriate wire would be to use on the haltech loom.
I also want to use the air conditioning idle up function and I think I found the information to wire that up on this forum.
I am also curious to see what people do with the unused wires, if they disconnect them or leave them on the loom itself...
Thanks
2JZ Wiring with a few sensors...
Re: 2JZ Wiring with a few sensors...
Just found some more info regarding pressure sensors on this forum which is good.
I will also have a 3rd oil pressure sensor, are any resistors required to run a number of them?

Pull Up Resistors are only needed for un-powered sensors, like temperature sensors.
