Currently running the Platinum in my 2003 Z and have it controlling my thermo fans via the aux trigger to the OEM relays. What i find is that when on idle and the haltech activates the thermo fans the car will sometimes drop to much idle and stall. Since the haltech doesn't control the DBW i cannot get it to flare the idle before switching on the thermo like the factory car does.
My question. Is the car stalling due to the initial voltage being pulled from the alternator/battery? Will a inline stiffeining capacitor help this out or is it stalling for a different reason?
If I turn off the haltech controlling the fans, the fans will come on at OEM temp with no issues.
I know the haltech can read the CAN signals but I don't believe they have released a version that can trigger/inject CAN requests hence why I have wired it as above.

What source are you using for the fan power? Run a trace of battery voltage to see what is happening when the fans kick on. Is your injector dead time set properly, or could it be going lean at the same time voltage drops?
Re: 350z Platinum - Thermo Fan Control (Stalls)
Fan power is where ever the OEM setup pulls it from. I'm just running the AUX to the fan relays in the IDPM.
My Inj Dead Times are as follows. Running PE510's
8.0v 0.920
9.0v 0.815
10.0v 0.710
11.0v 0.605
12.0v 0.450
I'm running a WB I will see what happens with the AFR on stall.

Run a trace of battery voltage vs rpm. Select battery voltage as the visible axis. Then screenshot it when you turn the fans on and the car stalls. Post that screenshot here.
You should consider more columns on your inj dead time table for 13, 14, 15v.

Re: 350z Platinum - Thermo Fan Control (Stalls)
Did anyone come up with a solution to this problem? I’ve double checked my Inj Dead time and they match the injector dynamics website. I have a max resolution of 8 on the voltages/dead time map. Should I delete 8-10 volts so I can have. Water resolution for 10-16volts?
The car runs perfect until the fans kick on. Then the afr leans as much as 15.5afr from 14.7 afr.
Any help would be appreciated. Trying to get stable enough to drive to get Dyno time.

Yes. Replaced with Haltech full standalone
Re: 350z Platinum - Thermo Fan Control (Stalls)
I got the platinum pro plug in stand alone. Also.
Did you add more resolution to the dead times for 12-16volt?

Unfortunately sold the car about 6 years ago so has been a while. From memory for the dead times I just used the settings from the ID sheet provided. Somehow I got it to be better albeit not perfect.
