2jz injector problem

Postby Lexus2jz » Mon Oct 22, 2018 7:27 am

I have a 2001 Lexus is300 running a Sprint 500. Just had the engine out for a couple years and finally threw in the same engine, just rebuilt. Now i have what seems to be no trigger signal. Just threw in a new crank sensor, didnt change cam sensor. Im getting spark, but no injector pulse. Each injector has 12v to both wires but it seems to not be grounding to fire them, even in multipoint fire. I was running semi-sequential and waste spark before the rebuild and everything was fine. It seems to be a wiring issue, i imagine. Ive checked wires running to the haltech and everything is still wired into the stock ecu wires just like before. Are there some things i should be checking exactly?

Maybe you have injector pulse but your injectors are stuck due to sitting a long time.Have happened to me with brand new ones that because sat inactive for along time they just stuck closed.Have them checked.

You don't need the cam sensor because you can only run semi-seq and waste.

But I think you are already onto it. It was working and now it doesn't after pulling out the engine usually means something is disconnected.
