low ignition advance in mid range rpm only

Hello

My ignition advance do not follow base advance at WOT in mid range RPM only and I am not sure why ! . Can you guys please take a look at my data log. could it be a glitch in software ? car is 350z

I found the problem :mrgreen: it is knock retard in bank 1 probably false knock due to noise , My afr was good in both banks . how to investigate in this problem ? use knock ears ?

I do know the wire link to the sensor in the valley is a common point of failure on just about all Nissan V6 engines. Worth double checking if you have bad false triggering. Happened on my Murano which then causes the OEM system to believe it is constantly knocking. The sensors themselves are quite hardy and rarely seem to give issues.

I know my Zed didn't need any changes to the knock setup when I ran my Pro ECU for a while. Add timing and it knocked, took it away and it didn't. But with a heavily modified engine it would need to be dialed in to suit the changes.
