Testing outputs
Is the elite able to test the outputs like Motec?

Re: Testing outputs
Yes! There will be a ECU test mode in a future firmware release.

Re: Testing outputs
Bump for this one. That would be a nice feature about now.

Re: Testing outputs
Hey just figured I would share find it up discovering it was pretty simple to test switched outputs by changing the default state in the set up. So something like a switched fan you just make the on state falling instead of risung or vice versa. Adam did get back to me and said there should be some type of test function channle that you can assign to each output to test them, but honestly that sounds like more work.
Still no good solution to test coils or injector out puts similar to motec though. Guess that we are stuck using node lights and timing lights for the time being.

Re: Testing outputs
Is there any estimated time for a release on this feature? I see the ESP Change Log still lists no Output Test Mode additions.
Re: Testing outputs
this will be very handy right now on my situation, dont know if other guy burn the ecu and need to test the coil and inj outputs

Re: Testing outputs
what about misfire detection?
Re: Testing outputs
Any update on this? Being able to test outputs such as injectors and ignition coils is extremely useful and something I really miss when wiring up the engine to be able to check everything before first start.
Re: Testing outputs
Hello, any Updates on this?
Re: Testing outputs
They just released a new Firmware version, but as far as I can see it's not an option as of yet.
Lots of things they want to add, will take time. Would be a shitload of testing required for each change they make (Even minor) as they don't want a new feature interfering with previous tables. I'm itching for Generic AVI filtering, but we just have to be patient
Plus it's a business, not UNICEF.. They've got to spend time making money too

Re: Testing outputs
Definitely on our list to do, but the list is 1000's of items long and only so many hours in the day. Many firmware updates coming over the next few months so you never know!
