iC-7 Odometer

Postby superskaterxes » Thu Dec 12, 2019 10:08 pm

So i just switched out my iq3s for an iC7 dash and realized that i have lost my odometer. Is there anyway to configure this?

While were on the subject of IC-7

what are my options for fuel level? Would that have to be configured thru ecu?

Right now, today, run it via the ECU.

There is hardware on the dash to handle fuel level input and it will be enabled in a future update shortly. Lots of updates to come.

Matt,

is there any harm in having wires hooked up to the unused pins on the dash at this point? I reused my iq3s harness and just put the extra pins in the unused locations for now.

I would not be connecting anything just yet until the firmware is done. Not sure what it would do when not activated.

On this subject will we be able to have an input for park lights to auto dim?
Also ability to have external switches to switch display pages?

I doubt connecting the wiring will hurt anything, but if you want to be certain I would not connect it until it is enabled.

Dimming is handled automatically by the light sensor at the moment.

Which channel does the Trip/Odometer read from? A specific wheel speed sensor or from GPS? The Trip/Odometer on my IC-7 doesn't change. (Using a Link ECU)
