Are you trying to add it to the iC7, if so that won't work...
The gps module needs to be connected to the ecu, speed is broadcasted via CAN to the dash.

The calibration is in the Product Info under https://www.haltech.com/product/ht-0113 ... t-module/#

This is not strictly true. There is an update that should land soon enough I guess that allows the Ic7 to accept digital inputs including GPS speed.

Dash Pins 18 - 21 are for analog inputs.

By default they will be configured as:

AVIP 1 - Pin 18 - Oil Pressure
AVIP 2 - Pin 19 - Oil Temperature
AVIP 3 - Pin 20 - Coolant Temperature
AVIP 4 - Pin 21 - Fuel Level

Digital inputs for speed are:

DPI 1 - Pin 34 - Tacho
DPI 2 - Pin 33 - Vehicle Speed

I have the Haltech GPS module and will be wiring it in the next few days to test out the recent update. Since the calibration appears to be baked into the IC-7 software I don’t expect to have any issues. Crossing my fingers.

Wired in the Haltech gps and it was effectively plug and play. You have to make sure the proper box is checked when reprogramming but nothing special. The GPS speed was pretty smooth and responsive. Overall I’m very pleased with my I -7 with all the recent updates. Just need to get warning lights/check engine lights added to the program and I will be very pleased.
