Ok so I haven't had a ton of time to search for all the answers but the ones I have found I am kinda confused on. I was told that I can run this dash off the can plug off my Elite 1500 and it will control everything off my ecu. Ok thats great but this comes down to a few things.

1) With it plugged into the can plug, can this tell what the fuel level is in the car? I have been reading on how to do it in the last few days I have been off work but I was just told this today. Can anyone help me on this.

2) Can I control my acd ( car is an 05 rs) with it using the can.

3) A buddy asked me about odometer being he lives where his car needs inspection every year. Does this keep track of the mileage?

I'll try my best....

1. You will need to hard wire the fuel sender wire to pin#21 called AVI4 to read fuel. The voltage readings I still haven't figured them out... looking at evom.net the full resistance is 6.5ohms and the empty is 41.1 ohms. My problem is now, assuming the sender utilizes 12v then we can use V/I*R to fill in the voltage at 0% and at 100%....I still don't know if the sender is 12v or 5v reference.

2. Your ACD is a total different computer so yes it still works, but to see the light input you will need to hard wire the signal into the dash itself.

3. Yes, it keeps milage but been that if you have this display, probably means you have a Haltech ECU, then your OBDII connecting will not work for inspection. But you can keep a trip count in order to maintain a record of the mileage.

Thanks for the reply. I have been doing some looking around and I wanna say that the sending unit is 5v. I have seen some videos on how to do this and makes since the way you explained it thank you. My car is still at the shop so I don't have a way to test anything out. I am looking forward to getting this thing in the car and seeing how it looks.
