IC7 AVI inputs

Hi

Will the AVI inputs on the IC7 dash communicate with the ECU (elite 2500) over CAN?

IE. Could I wire a trim switch or pressure sensor to the dash and would the ecu get this data over CAN?
Or does it only display the info on the screen

This feature seems so essential for the dash. With the huge lack of AVI inputs on an elite 2500 even adding on the 2 IO boxes only gives you 8. and when running a DBW set up on the 2500 that chews up 4 inputs right off the SPAM.

I am hoping they are actively working on the software implementation of this feature. I would love to get some engine protection from the AVIs that I have as display only on my dash due to the lack of AVI inputs on the 2500.

In case some of the techs at haltech read these im just expressing my desire for this feature. it would be a nice upgrade for the dash and a more compelling sell too.

I have also heard back from Haltech support.
They are working on a software update to allow the dash to communicate with the ECU and it has a tentative completion by the end of the year.

Yeah it looks like we could see an integration much like the PD16 wiring I would imagine in NSP where they will just be there in the list of inputs to assign them too like an IO box.

I am excited to see what it will look like. Sounds like theres quite a good amount of software development going on behind the scenes

It'd make integrating a stalk for cruise control easy for wiring. My IC7 will be far closer than the ECU, and im lacking inputs on the my elite 2500 as it is.

Has there been any update on this? I've run out of inputs on my 2500 now that I'm going DBW, and I'd love to be able to add cruise control using the factory stalk. I've got loads of inputs left on the IC7 now.
