Traction control slip percentage... discrepancy???

Postby Flat_Rate » Thu Jan 10, 2019 2:10 pm

Toying around with the software in attempts to setup some ignition timing corrections and noticed that it will only allow a 0-10% slip percentage to be entered into the axis (which i need more adjustability then that...

When you select which channel to use for table axis it says its 0-100% selectable

Always update software and firmware before looking for an answer. We do not bug test or diagnose older versions.

The AEM Infinity seems to set traction control slip in mph by gear with an some solid justification to think of slip as a speed difference rather than a speed ratio.

The basic principal of traction control is reduce wheel spin by comparing the . e.g. a slip percentage of 10% means the tire is moving 10% faster than the road. Because this varies depending on conditions

you can setup traction control however you see fit with Haltech... define the Axis with whatever parameter you feel.
